Here is #2 of the top 5 stomach exercises that you should be doing!

This exercise doesn't seem like it would be that effective, but just wait until after you are done with it! The important part is to hold your body in place once you lift your legs and head. Be sure that your legs are slightly bent throughout this exercise.

What it targets: This exercise targets your abdominal area as a whole and really puts a great stress on it that can strengthen your core and deliver quick results.

Recommended Sets/Reps: Do 15-20 reps for each set. It will take that many to really get your body and ab muscles to burn.


  • Lie on your back with your hands, palms down under your buttocks.
  • Slowly raise your legs about a foot off the floor and hold them there.
  • Using just your lower abs, tilt your pelvis and raise your legs a further.
  • Hold for a few seconds then return to your original position. Keep going until you can feel it burning in your abs.
